We have some early results and I have to say that I’m impressed with the work our photographers and models produced.  It always fascinates me to see how different people interpret the same set up.  Thanks to Peter and Diane for sending these in.

What a great day we had yesterday  at the Abstract Space and Shape workshop.  Thanks to all of the wonderful photographers who joined us and a very special thank you to our tow models Katlyn LaCoste and Brooke Lynn.

We enjoyed a wonderful group of photographers and a fun filled day.  Special thanks go out to Rhus, our model for the day.

It’s always a pleasure to share some of the results.

May Figure Workshop

May 23, 2010

The May Figure Workshop was held yesterday and a great time was had by all.  From what we saw as the day unfolded there were some incredible images made!!!  Thanks go out to all who participated.  It’s really all of the wonderful people who make these events what they are.  Special thanks to our Models Beth and Nori for an outstanding job. We will be posting some results as soon as they are available.

Eight photographers and two models participated in this workshop and a good time was had by all.

At the beginning of the workshop I set up a single soft box and proceeded to conduct a demonstration to get things started.  I fired off only four frames and two of them are shown below.  I suppose that there’s merit in the cliche that less is more as I’m very happy with these two portraits.  Of course much of the credit goes to Sarah, it’s difficult not to get a strong portrait of her.
